Calvary Rescue Mission
Temple serves as a partner with Calvary Rescue Mission on a montly basis to feed the men who are currently residing at Calvary.
Meals are planned based on the need of Calvary and prepared by members of our congregration. Meals are then delivered to Calvary Rescue Mission and served.

Threads of Faith
Threads of Faith is a sewing ministry of Temple United Methodist Church. Our mission is to use our God-given talents to share the love and comfort of Christ. Some of our projects include prayer quilts, lap throws, hats, scarves, and stillborn gowns. Some of these handmade gifts are given to individuals who are ill, who grieve, or who just need an assurance of God’s love. Organizations that have received our gifts include local hospitals, Calvary Rescue Mission, and Mito Quilts for Hope, just to name a few. Threads of Faith believes in serving our brothers and sisters in Christ. We believe in fellowship and laughter. We believe in walking the journey of faith together. We believe in sharing in the joys and struggles of life. We believe we are called to build the kingdom of God through love and service—one thread at a time. Threads of Faith meets Sunday afternoons 3:00-6:00 pm. If you sew, knit, crochet, or just love warm fellowship, we welcome you to join us!
Food & Faith Ministry
To create and sustain a food and faith garden that will provide fresh produce to our members and the community. It will serve as food for those hungry in body, and a place for those hungry in spirit.
A place of celebration and education of the gift of God's good earth which will generate the opportunity for relationship formation and outreach.
